About CSI Nihilent Award
The Computer Society of India (CSI) has instituted these
awards for recognizing the contributions made in the field of e-Governance in
the country and Nihilent Technologies have been sponsoring from inception. CSI
Nihilent is to recognize and appreciate the successful efforts at the Project /
District / Department and at the State Level in achieving good governance using
ICT. We are happy to announce that Bangalore One, a Metier of e-Governance is
awarded with the prestigious CSI Nihelent Award for its sustainability and
excellence in contribution of offering citizen centric services through
Information Technology.
Bangalore one team would like to thank all the users and
citizens for making Bangalore One a huge success. The award function was held
on 2nd Dec 2011 in Ahmedabad which was attended by Mr. Bishwajit Mishra I.F.S.,
Director of EDCS, Government of Karnataka.

About Manthan Award
The Manthan Award is to make visible the contents that
already exist and thus demonstrating the richness and diversity of content
creativity to those interested in understanding and planning an Information
Society. The Manthan Award wants to demonstrate to every stakeholder the
existing range of creativity and excellence in the use of the IT tools and
communication networks. It seeks to substantiate the conviction that access to
networks and ICT platforms is beneficial to the high quality and value of
e-contents which are produced and available. It attempts to consider that
quality contents, their production and economic sustainability are fundamental
requirements which require changes to the way markets operate and governments
act.

been awarded prestigious Manthan Award for its creativity and excellence in
contribution to citizen services through its portal. We would like to thank all

function was held on 3rd December 2011 in Delhi and Mr. Ram Mohan, Project
Manager, Bangalore One, CMS, Government of Karnataka, receiving the prestigious
award for Bangalore One project for its contribution to e-governance.

About Web Ratna Award
Today,almost every Government department is trying to
leverage upon the benefits of ICT to provide better services to the common
citizen. A number of e-Governance initiatives have been undertaken by the
government departments at Central and State levels. Some of the egovernance
projects are already running successfully in different parts of the country.
BangaloreOne in an example of citizen centric services project , which is
running successfully for last five years.
In order to promote more and more innovative e-governance
initiatives and to give due recognition to the exemplary efforts in this
direction, the Web Ratna Awards have been instituted under the ambit of the
National Portal of India.
We are immensely happy to announce that B1 has been awarded
the Web Ratna award for its contribution to citizen services through its
portal. Also, we would like to thank all the users and citizens for making B1 a
huge success.The award function was held on 19th April 2010 in Delhi and the
picture shows Dr.D.S.Ravindran, Ph.D. (Wales), Director, EDCS, Government of
Karnataka, receiving the prestigious award for BangaloreOne project for its
contribution to e-governance.
